Joshua Geist
President and Chief Executive Officer
 
 
Geist is an experienced, hands-on entrepreneurial leader who is recognized as the key innovator in the Cloud-based Recovery as a Service (RaaS) industry. With a solid track record of founding innovative and market disruptive companies, Geist currently focuses his efforts on establishing leading business models, technologies and processes in the Cloud-based RaaS landscape through Geminare, the global market leader in RaaS deployments and enablement. Through Geist’s leadership, Geminare is recognized through industry awards and leading market analysts and has patented its disruptive Cloud CORE Platform—a proven, mature, multi-tiered service delivery vehicle that is the foundation of Geminare’s entire RaaS enablement engine. 
 
A quoted technology expert in the media, Geist previously founded and was President and Chief Executive Officer of MindBytes, a professional services organization focused on delivering technology best practices to organizations. There he acted as the outsourced Chief Technology Officer and advisor for over 200 small and mid-sized organizations over the course of 12 years, personally guiding consistent year-over-year company growth for multiple start-ups.  Prior to founding MindBytes, Geist had the privilege of working for Apple Computer for over 4 years as their Technical Training Manager where he developed and delivered network, system, sales and operational training programs across Canada.
 
Geist holds a degree in Applied Physics and Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario and enjoys every free moment with his wife and three daughters.
 
 
 
Steven Wagner
Vice President, Global Channels and Alliances
 
 
Steve Wagner is an experienced executive and entrepreneur with a successful record of delivering business solutions and management and technology consulting services to the U.S. classified government, aerospace, telecommunications, and hi-tech industries. Steve has built and managed businesses in excess of $50M with partners that include Qwest Communications, Cisco, IBM, and BEA Systems. 
 
Since 2004, Steve has held a thought leadership position on the leading edge of the SaaS Cloud Services envelope helping SMB and Enterprise companies navigate and transform their business models as they take the journey to the Cloud. Steve has worked with some of the most innovative companies delivering services over the web, including Oracle, SAP, Taleo, Xactly, Business Objects, and Adobe. Steve recently followed his entrepreneurial spirit as CEO and co-founder of ServoTerra, offering a SaaS B2B e-commerce and social enterprise service with established OEM and ISV partnerships with Salesforce.com; ServoTerra was acquired in 2011. Prior to ServoTerra, as SVP Client Services and GM at OpSource, Steve created a “customer for life”-centric culture to drive client and partner success for the rapidly growing SaaS delivery and Cloud services business.
 
Prior to OpSource, Steve was Managing Director at BearingPoint and a Partner with KPMG Consulting where he built a $57M book of business as the systems Integrator supporting Qwest Communications, Sprint, and CenturyLink (formerly CenturyTel). Early in his career, Steve spent five years in the strategy practice at the world class firm of Booz Allen & Hamilton supporting the classified government as the system integrator to IBM.
 
Steve holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University and holds a Systems Engineering certification from the US Air Force Institute of Technology. 
 
 
 
Mike Larkin
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
 
 
 
Mike Larkin is an experienced executive whose career spans over 30 years, primarily in the telecommunications and emerging technology fields. Mike's senior leadership roles have included tenure with Bell Canada as VP Sales and Marketing as well as various start-up ventures including iNet America, BCE Emergis and WorldLinx - an early-stage Internet company that grew from zero to $50m in revenue under Mike's direction.
 
Mike is the co-author of two best-selling business books, entitled ICE and CARE. He is married with twin children, and resides in Oakville, Ontario, near Toronto.
 
 
 
Larry Schreiner, CA, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
 
 
Larry Schreiner brings to the Geminare team over 25 years of senior management experience ranging from early stage companies such as ZENN Motor Company to mature corporate environments such as LGS, an IBM Company part of IBM Global Services, developing management processes applicable to the size of the business and constituting the foundation for future growth.
 
Larry was the founding CFO at ZENN, joining the company in 2005 prior to it going public in 2006. At ZENN, Larry raised over $40 million in a number of private and public share offerings and was an early adopter of cloud computing in the design and implementation of ZENN’s technology strategy. ZENN was in fact, an early customer of Geminare and had occasion to take advantage of Geminare’s real-time replication and business continuity services. Prior to ZENN, Larry was General Manger of the computer/telephony integration business unit of LGS Group, responsible for a number of functional areas including sales, architecture, solutions delivery and post-implementation support.
 
Larry is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario, with a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from McMaster University. In his spare time, Larry is an avid photographer and enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, canoeing and hiking.
